Every Friday afternoon I gather a few of my hardcore gym friends for what I like to call Friday Funday. Fridays consist of a heart-pumping, sweat soaking workouts; roughly 35-40 straight minutes of hell that I like to put my friends through. This typically is our warm up before we get to the rest of our workout, which usually lasts about an hour and a half.

It’s amazing how the human body can endure a lot when put to the test; It’s just that not a lot of people are interested in doing so. I love these circuit training workouts because it’s constant motion. It not only is a more fun and exciting way of doing aerobic cardio, but it also help to lean your body out. Circuit training with exercises such as the ones I am listing helps to increase your definition and muscularity while burning unwanted fat. It helps to increase your atheticism, coordination, and improve your all around physical and mental health. This week’s circuit training consists of:

a) one arm dumbbell clean and presses
b) burpees with weights
c) Jack Dempseys
d) sit ups
e) barbell body rows

This circuit is 5 minute rounds with 1 minute rests. I set up this circuit to compliment the body parts with each other and to give ample recovery time while focusing on other muscles.
