NFL Suspension and StarCaps Diet Pills

Posted on | December 3, 2008 |

Recently, there were 6 NFL players suspended for the remaining 4 games of the NFL season without pay, reportedly because of doping issues and allegations. The players are: Minnesota Vikings defensive tackles Pat Williams and Kevin Williams, Houston Texans long snapper Bryan Pittman and three New Orleans Saints players, tailback Deuce McAllister and defensive ends Charles Grant and Will Smith. The league is yet to rule on an appeal by Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jackson.

Some of the players claim that the only thing they had taken this season was a diuretic/fat-loss pill called Star Caps. Star Caps is a diet pill to the stars endorsed by Nikki Haskell. The claims made are that you can lose 10, 25, even 125 pounds with little change to your diet and little exercise. This following excerpt is from http://myvitanet.com

“Created by the diet queen to the stars Nikki Haskell, StarCaps, the natural dietary supplement containing a rare blend of papaya and garlic that help metabolize protein, eliminate bloat and detoxify your system, is the quick, effective way to melt off 10-125 pounds”.

I wasn’t too convinced on its amazing effects so I had to do some more research and found testimonials of people that tried this wonder diet pill to-the-stars and this is what I found:

1. “don’t’ know what the celebrities are talking about, I only lost three pounds with one hundred bucks worth of Starcaps.”-Richard Johnson

2. “I LOST ABOUT FIVE POUNDS, NOT BAD BUT I WAS EXPECTING MORE. I’M NOT BUYING ANOTHER BOTTLE.”-ROSA VELENZA

3. “I wish I would have done a little more research before I bought Starcaps. They were nothing but a disappointment.”-jb420

I am not sure if this diet pill really works or not. Judging from its ingredients and testimonials, I am sure that if it really did have these amazing weight loss effects that more people would have tried it already and I would have heard about it. With the expensive price tag for only 30 pills at 2 pills a day, the smart purchase here would be to buy a new pair of running shoes and have a good ol’ fashioned heart-pumping workout.
