Super Fight of the Century

With the upcoming fight between UFC welterweight champ Georges St Pierre and UFC lightweight champ B.J. Penn, there has been a lot of speculation about what is going to happen during the fight. I, along with everyone else, am extremely excited for this match up, but I am even more excited for the bouts that will take place after.

The UFC is going to be very busy once this match unfolds. Kenny Florian is the #1 contender waiting in line for a shot at the lightweight title, but he has to wait it out for this fight to be over. There have also been talks that if St Pierre can beat B.J., he will most likely have another Super Fight against the UFC middleweight champion Anderson the Spider Silva.

This is the fight that the entire world wants to see. If there is one person who can beat “the Spider”, it is “Rush” St Pierre. He has the athleticism, the ability, the drive, and the determination to beat Silva, and become the pound for pound best fighter in the world. Because of this reason, I am pulling for St. Pierre to win. I like B.J. Penn, but I like St. Pierre better, and as much as I would like to see Anderson Silva continue his reign, I would love to see Georges beat the best at every weight class there is.
